How do we explain witchcraft, black magic, prophetic gift, mystical experience and etc., if the spiritual world doesn’t exist?

2 Mins read

Once you remove a spiritual world from the scene or picture, all these spiritual happenings, phenomena, and occurrences remain dark, saying unresolved riddles, unknown mysteries, and unexplainable occurrences. Man remains groping in darkness, trying to find the answers for them.

Witchcraft traditionally means the use of magic or supernatural powers to harm others.

Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes; or magic associated with the devil or other evil spirit. It is also used to perform malicious practices to destroy someone physically, mentally, or financially.

Mystical experience is when an individual not only encounters the supernatural but experiences a total loss of individuality and is in union with the divine, the absolute, the deity, and the supernatural.

We have the spiritual gift, which prophecy is one of them (1 Corinthians 12:1,8–11). Prophecy in the New Testament is for edification, exhortation, and comfort of men (1 Corinthians 14:3). The prophetic gift may include any gift that involves teaching, encouraging or rebuking others. Spiritual gifts are gifts of the Holy Spirit that help one conduct in the spiritual world or realm in one way or the other as the spirit will and get information that is unknown to the present physical world at that time.

All these are Spiritual phenomena, which means they only happen when you conduct or come into contact with the spiritual realm. The spiritual world or realm is more real than the physical world, and it’s a beehive of activities. Anything that happens in the physical first occurs in the spiritual world before manifesting in the physical.

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago–whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows–such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man–whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words which it is not lawful for a man to utter”. (2 Corinthians 12:2–4). This verse shows that there is a spiritual world.

Everything you do affects first the spiritual world before it affects the physical. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12). The battle is done physically but affects the spiritual world.

Once you remove a spiritual world, all these happenings, phenomena, and occurrences remain dark, saying unresolved riddles, unknown mysteries, and unexplainable events. Removing the spiritual world is denying the existence of God, angels, devil and demons or evil spirits and other spiritual beings. And these spiritual beings and the spiritual world themselves are responsible in one way or another for this spiritual phenomenon’s occurrences and happenings.
