Who do men say that I am,
the Son of Man, am I?
Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah
Others Jeremiah or one of the prophets
Now, who do you say that I am?
You are the Word of God
Sharper than a two-edged sword
Anyone can afford to have
Why it must be heard
You are the Way to God
You pave the way on that day
(on the cross)
Through you, we must pray (to the Father)
On that day, we will stay (with you in heaven)
You are love
Like an innocent dove
led to the slaughter
There is no greater love above your shed blood
Therefore, we are your beloved
You are light
That exposes the dark
In spite of my sin
Your fight in Gethsemane set me free
Your blood made me right
You adorn me with a white garment
My eyes are bright to see your glory
You are life
Breath in my soul
Revive my spirit
Trade your life for death
So, that I may have life and
life abundantly
You are Jesus, Son of the living God
In you, I am well pleased.
